For Haiti Gallery
The children of La Vallee de Jacmel, Haiti
participated in a two-day collaborative project called The
Art Miles Mural Project© in June 2001. These children
who lived in villages with no running water or electricity
spent their time painting, playing and having fun. Many of
them were inspired and decided to be an artist. In a short
time, their pieces were marveling the heart of many.
The lithographs of the Haitian paintings were made possible
by a grant from Jameelah Sheridan who believes that through
teaching art to children, selling the originals and lithographs,
and using the proceed will enable us to continue with existing
programs as well as to start new schools and educational programs
in Haiti and throughout the world.
The lithographs are printed on 80# Vintage Velvet Cover (.0072
thickness) #1 Coated Cover, Acid Free Archival quality paper.
